Assessment of Learning: Students will demonstrate their understanding of the essential questions by creating a "Cascaron" with a namecard indicating their understanding of both the definition of Cascaron and its history, origin, and traditional use in the Latino culture

Assessment: Project Rubric - 10 points/cascaron is filled with confetti and capped; 10 points/cascaron is decorately neatly and colorfully; 10 points/namecard has been filled out with name, this rubric, definition of cascaron, and one fact about the history/origin/traditional use of cascaron in the Latino culture; 10 points/picture has been taken of cascaron and namecard and submitted to Ms. Stone at [email protected] or 589-1278
Drill: Repeat the weekly vocabulary (look, listen, repeat - multitasking may be allowed today if students are finalizing the cascarones)
Homework: Copy weekly vocabulary 3x each in Spanish and English
